Before you start a project check with your local Building Department

Safety is always a priority when repairing or remodeling a home. It is always wise to contact the local building department before starting a project. There are many variables when remodeling or building a home; load bearing partitions, buried utility lines, suitable soil conditions, and load capacity for lumber sizes are just a few. Our local building and zoning departments are there for the public safety. Contacting them before a project reduces any chance of injury, fines, or imprisonment.
